- Taking your children to school? Then always carry a brochure to show other parents. Not only will you gain new customers, but also new friends. Also ask the teachers whether they would show it to other staff.
-Re-canvass your territory. Knock on every door. There may be some new arrivals – what a great way to welcome them to the area!
-Ask existing customers to find you new customers. Hold a customer raffle. Give them a discount for finding you a new customer. Give them a gift as a thank you.-Always carry a brochure and samples to hand out. Potential customers will be impressed at the chance to try something new for nothing and will be encouraged to buy.
-Always re-canvass at Christmas. Lots of people who don’t buy all year round will buy then for their friends and relatives to avoid the rush and going into crowded shops.
-Call on any group in the area – such as Play Groups, Local Charities, Community Organisations etc and ask whether you can leave a brochure.
-Don’t let your customers down. Give them good service and loyalty.

-Have a customer ‘Beauty Evening’. This is when you invite your customers along to your house to have a look at all your products.
-Put postcards in your local shops saying: “Have you lost contact with your Avon Representative? “ Add your name, contact number and Avon address.

-Ask your Manager to do a product demonstration in your home.
